gamedac.js demo
Two things you can do, both entirely in your browser (nothing is uploaded): encode any audio file into a classic game format, or open a game audio file and play or convert it.
1. Encode an audio file
No audio loaded.
| Result | - |
| Size vs. 16-bit PCM | - |
| Encode / decode time | - |
The decoded clip you hear is gamedac's own decoder. Rates are fixed by some formats (XA 37.8 kHz, OKI 8 kHz), so those are resampled first.
2. Open a game audio file
No file opened. Headered formats (VAG, XA, DSP, ADX, WAV-wrapped Yamaha/OKI) are recognised from their content.
See the README for the formats, what was verified against vgmstream and what was not.
